UCLG Committee on Social and Economic Inclusion
Interpretation EN – ES – FR – KO
The session will highlight how the provision of basic services which respond to the needs of people can generate and maintain quality employment. The efficient management of these services brings innovation to the local economy and promotes sustainability and social cohesion. Practices of governments and public companies will be analyzed as a means of transferring and promoting efficient and inclusive management to advance towards fairer and more sustainable territories. The sharing of these successful experiences, both in terms of employment and management will promote transformative public policies, aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals and linked to the ecological transition, the green economy and social innovation.
