UCLG is committed to promoting and making visible the role of culture in sustainable development and in response to the challenges facing humanity. This session will allow cities and cultural organizations to present and promote their actions towards the achievement of sustainable development from a cultural and rights-based perspective. The session will also enable further reflection on the crucial role of culture and cultural rights to tackle climate change and achieve gender equality, and will provide insights on its importance for the UCLG Pact of the Future.
