PLANET: The Pact for the Future for the Planet: Transforming our Relationship with our Ecosystems

Interpretation  AR – CHI – EN – ES – FR – KO – RU – TR

Local public service provision has proven to be a vital part of our response towards protecting people and the planet before and during the pandemic and in the achievement of the 2030 Agenda and Sustainable Development Goals. Building on this and on the key role that local and regional governments play in solidarity, diplomacy, and urban and territorial regeneration, local and regional governments must be treated as key actors in the journey towards transforming our relationship with nature and our ecosystems. The session will foster a dialogue between representatives of local and regional governments, national and international actors, grassroots organizations and key stakeholders on the actions that need to be collectively taken to transform our relationship with nature.
