Interpretation EN – ES – FR – KO

Proximity is a central feature of promoting planning and policy-making initiatives aimed at transforming our societies towards more sustainable, inclusive and resilient ways of living at the local, urban and regional level. Developing models of transport, production and consumption which foster proximity is crucial to preserve our planet, enhance urban and territorial quality of life, and harness inclusive innovation. This special session will gather lead experts, government representatives and practitioners to deliberate on the way forward for a dialogue that reflects the evidence and practice for placing proximity at the core of urban planning and policy-making.
