By convening mayors, governors, experts and researchers, Daejeon Metropolitan City hopes to explore three issues overarching the Daejeon Track: 1) urban innovation and new technologies; 2) the role of science and technology in future cities; and 3) global collaborations and networks for urban sustainability, including the means to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050. Exchanging insights and best practices will be essential in this exercise. The session aims especially to forge new collaborative projects to promote urban innovation towards sustainable and resilient development.
