Aligned with the goal of Making Cities Resilient 2030 (MCR2030), the session will emphasize the importance of taking a long term and systemic approach to resilience. Participants will participate in an interactive exercise to reflect on the cost of doing nothing, taken from the first resilience learning module jointly developed and launched by UCLG, UNDRR and UN-HABITAT in 2020. The session will also introduce useful resources and capacity building support to enhance local risk governance and resilience financing from MCR2030 service providers.
