The digital transformation of public administration is changing organizations, ways of processing and delivering services, and the management of public resources. To maximize opportunities and minimize challenges to local autonomy and decentralization, local leaders, policy makers, researchers and stakeholders should jointly identify opportunities, explore new options, and implement innovative policies to make the best use of digital technologies available in the fourth industrial revolution. The session will share ideas, best practices and lessons, particularly from the perspective of local governments.
