New technologies like facial recognition, artificial intelligence and the metaverse have found their way into our daily lives. They are already being used in the public sector, helping decision-making and providing services. However, these new technologies also pose threats to human rights. This session, featuring experts of ICT as well as human rights, will examine cases where new technologies might violate human rights and explore how to protect those rights, particularly in the field of public administration, in this new era.
