United Nations Capital Development Fund (UNCDF)

Local government finance is the foundation for development that serves people, protects the planet and empowers government. The Malaga policy agenda aims to nurture a global financial ecosystem that works for cities and local governments. This session will also celebrate the signing ceremony of an agreement between UNCDF and the Municipality of Chefchaouen to finance public lighting renovation in a sustainable way, the first project carried out as part of the International Municipal Investment Fund (IMIF).
