The City Research and Innovation Lab will focus on the latest research and projects identified via GCoM’s Innovate4Cities initiative – through its Research and Innovation Technical Working Group (R+I-TWG). The session will highlight initial findings, as well as case studies of research, integrated projects, and activities that can support local governments and partners in their pursuit of climate action implementation. There will be a dedicated timeslot for participants to ‘pitch’ their own ideas and proposals – including existing research efforts, innovative solutions, and new activities and partnerships – to address highlighted gaps and priorities.
