Cities for All Training Program: Capacity Building with Practitioners

The session will showcase the first edition of the C4All Training Programme, titled “Introduction to Inclusive and Accessible Cities” which promotes capacity building for local practitioners and city leaders by fostering peer-to-peer learning through showcasing of best practices and insights by city leaders and disability advocates. The 2022 Edition of the Learning Modules promotes inclusion and disability justice as crucial principles to foster change and provide actionable responses in addressing barriers to inclusion. In this session, city leaders and local practitioners will discuss their experiences in advancing the inclusion targets of SDG 11 and the crucial role of capacity building as a vehicle to build more inclusive urban development.
