Local and Regional Governments Breaking Through As One – Official Guide
The World Summit of Local and Regional Leaders and World Congress is the largest gathering of mayors, presidents of associations, local elected officers, and practitioners from around the world. Convened by United Cities and Local Governments (UCLG) and for the first-time hybrid, it also gathers critical partners and the international system driving forward the decision making of city and community life.
In 2022, we will embrace new possibilities to open up to audiences beyond the city of Daejeon, to be all together in every way we can while bringing in the Korean perspective on key issues of the international agenda.

The UCLG World Summit will be officially held from 10-14 October. You can now check out an overview of the programme, which is the prelude for a more detailed version in the weeks to come. You can find sessions divided by each of the tracks that enhance the power of our movement.
The Daejeon Experience
Daejeon is the center of Science and Technology in Korea and it will allow participants to experience a myriad of cultural events and festivals associated with digital technology and discover the energy of Korea. The Daejeon Experience document offers an overview of the rich cultural agenda of Official and Special Side Events in Daejeon in the framework of the 7th UCLG World Congress.
